During my recent stay at the Royal Inn, I was thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and outstanding amenities offered. As a history teacher traveling with friends, I appreciated the hotel's proximity to charming locality attractions, such as Fowey, which is rich in literary connections to Daphne du Maurier. Our spacious room was a delightful retreat, complete with modern comforts and an en-suite bathroom. The daily updated menu crafted by Head Chef Rico was a culinary highlight, showcasing local flavors that beautifully complemented our exploration of the surrounding heritage sites. The relaxed bar area with its inviting log-effect fire provided a perfect setting for enjoyable conversations after a day of discovery. Our experience exceeded expectations, making us eager to return for another week-long adventure in this picturesque part of Cornwall.
